Museum of the circle Peine

In 1988, the District Museum Peine was established as a museum of regional and industrial history of the district Peine as part of the county house extension. On 1000m² you can have a look on Industrial history, a local shop, a drugstore, a 50s-living room and a classroom but also modern art. A birthdayparty for childern, teaching in the classroom as it was 100 years ago and themed tours in costume belong to the program. Even in the corridors of the county house the district museum creates an artistic variety.
